I honestly felt stupider after watching that video. God, the stuff you find on the internet.
Really, I think that I see a *lot* of influences from the people brought over from battle.net on GW game design. If the Assassin makes the same "ee-yah!" sound and gets a "kicks" line of finishers as they did in Diablo2, I'm afraid I might have to go find a developer and kick them in the balls.
I understand that there are certain things that are universally common, but come on, we don't have to copy Diablo2 *that* much, do we?
Next up: a "holy warrior" class that uses "auras", and a "primitive battle rager" class that gets a lot of "hit points".

Because "rogue" and "shaman" would have evoked cries of "omg it's WoW", so....Assassin and Ritualist.
Don't be surprised if the next chapter's new classes include a Druid.

I like the name 'assassin'. Imagine all the jokes/immature flames one can get from the first three letters alone.
But please, ANet, for the love of god: no bards!

Would you rather have ninja? (same thing) or Hitman For Hire?
Its just what the character is...and the name assassin fits the best.

Wouldn't that just be a Ranger, wearing Druid's armor and focusing on spells and Beast Mastery?
but, yes, i agree with Numa Pompilius: for the love of god, no bards!

I had a character with the word Assassin in his name, a few days later Anet informs me my character contains "offensive" words... lol. Now we get to play characters with two "Ass" in it's clAss.

Well he's sort of like an indirect team player. He could say, warp around the enemy lines all by himself just putting mass pressure on the monks why the rest of the team goes about battling or spiking or w/e. Even though an assasin isn't meant to play along with a team, it can be part of a team build. When they introduce the 12 v 12 maps they've revealed will be in Factions, a use of 1 or 2 assassins in the build would be to sneak around behind enemy lines, hit and run a few on the monk backline and then warp back. So basically it might end up where every team is made up of the monk back line, the assassin(s), the front line damage, and the midline damage which also looks after defending the monk backline from assassin assaults.
